As women these days, we are under so much pressure to look good, lose weight, eat healthy, be successful in a profession, look after a family and run a household. The pressure from these expectations that we put on ourselves have had a huge impact on the mental and physical health of all women ranging from all different ages.

I have found that incorporating daily affirmations in to my life have made a hugely positive impact. And there are so many different ways to do this:

Write down your affirmations at the same time every day and read them out loud.

Repeat your affirmations as part of your morning ritual before starting your day.

Meditate over your affirmations and visualise them coming true in their reality.

If you believe the saying ‘you are what you think’, then life truly stems from your thoughts. But we cannot rely purely on thoughts. We should try and turn our thoughts into words and eventually into actions in order to manifest our intentions. This means we have to be very careful with our words, choosing to speak only those which work towards our benefit and cultivate our highest good.

Using affirmations daily really strengthens us by helping us believe in the potential of an action we want to manifest. When we say our affirmations, our dreams and ambitions, we are instantly empowered with this innate sense of reassurance that the words that we speak will become a reality.
